a little out of place?

I love surprises! Especially when someone is SO HARD to surprise!

I love hanging out with "old friends". My friend is one of the hardest people to surprise - because she picks up on EVERYTHING. But we did it! She had NO CLUE! It was awesome. Her husband did such a good job!!

It was funny hanging out with everyone... now that we're "grown up" ... and with their husbands there (we typically have girls' nights...) Most of the conversation revolved around the "funniest things that their kids have done or said lately" - or on the other side of the spectrum - "how many different guys you can date in a month".

I'm not in either of those places... so it was a little awkward. Still fun. But I definitely felt out of place.
